2,100 schools and FE Colleges with over 252,000 students will be encouraged to bring school groups or send students individually. We are specifically targeting students in lower 6th who are considering applying for deferred entry and upper sixth who have listed taking a gap year as a preferred option.

University Students

Each year over 150,000 students take time off to travel. Some are looking for specific projects or work experience to help improve their CV's while others are just looking for fun and the funds to pay for it. At The Times Gap Year Show, students will be able to get the services and advice they need for whatever they plan to do.

Career Breakers

Many companies now actively encourage staff to take a sabbatical, which means that a further 50,000 professionals now embark on a 'grown-up gap year', whether that involves working on an organised project or experiencing the trip of a lifetime.

There is also an increasing number of people in their 50's who want to take time out after long careers and raising children. The Times Gap Year Show has advice and ideas for anyone considering travelling.
